It was not that she remembered what day it was. She was far too engrossed in the causes of abnormal volumes of urine and the drugs for an itchy armpit.
She had somewhat unknowingly pruned the branches of her life that had once obstinately tried to grow outside of the walls.
All that remained of those times, were half burnt memories of a series of love letters passed to a person, whom she had never had the right to fall in love with, a few greeting cards wishing her great prosperity on 2 or 3 consequent birthdays and new years, and exactly 6 diaries filled up to the brim with daily heartaches and headaches of growing up.
She was concentrating on a particularly long list of things that caused a lump in the abdomen, when her happily comatose phone suddenly came to life.
4 mails competed to push into her inbox at a time!

The advertisements from the different shopping sites all responsibly reminded her about Friendship Day.
They did make an impact.
She ended up going to sleep an hour and a half later, still scrambling to find a name.
Nice! Though never quite accustomed to the concept of days.
